Kim Blanck

Gloria is a short written and directed by Kim Blanck. The film made its world premiere at the 2025 Tribeca Festival and won the Narrative Short Jury and Audience Awards at the Austin Asian American Film Festival.

Shot on 16mm and starring Emily Kuroda of “Gilmore Girls,” Gloria is about dementia, community, and one Chinese woman’s enduring love of learning.

The project is the proud recipient of a Berkeley FILM Foundation Grant and a Dementia Spring Impact Arts Award.
